SELL YOUR AIRCRAFT
If you select to market your aircraft through Loutzavia we will offer you the following services:
- We have an extensive database of potential buyers that have shown interest in buying an aircraft. We will get the information about your aircraft to them.
- Furthermore we will also assist you the seller to set a marketable price for your aircraft by doing a proper evaluation with the assistance of the Aircraft Blue Book and current market trends.
- With the assistance of your Aviation Maintenance Organisation we will get a specification sheet and photos of your aircraft in order to post it on the web site where it will get even more exposure as we already have a very high number of unique hits on our website every month.
- Once we have received the signed copy of the Authority to market the aircraft we will do our utmost to find the right buyer.
- We can also market the aircraft by placing it on the different notice boards at airports.
- From time to time we also buy advertisement space in the local and international flying magazines we might also place an ad in some or any of them. We take this option completely at our discretion. The problem is with the long waiting periods between placing an ad and the actual publishing of the advertisement – we have often found that an aircraft will sell before the ad is in the magazine.
- We also want to start a service where we have regular aircraft auctions at our hangar facilities at Wonderboom Airport where we will have the aircraft available and the reserve is then set in consultation with the owner.
- Loutzavia charges a total of 5% sales commission + Vat on the total selling price of your aircraft in the event of a successful sale.
- We promise to keep you posted as to the exposure your aircraft received and to whom the aircraft was presented. This will be by SMS, Email or phone calls.
The difference between our mandate forms are:
- A sole mandate means we will have the sole mandate from you the owner to market the aircraft – if the aircraft is sold in the time of the validity of the mandate you are liable to pay the commission. Even after the period of the mandate expires and you aircraft is sold to a potential buyer we introduced the conditions of the mandate are still applicable.
- With an open mandate it is basically the same however it is a case where others are also marketing the aircraft – if we however introduced a potential buyer and a transaction is effected the seller is liable for the commission to the party that introduced the buyer.
What is needed?
Enter your details and the details of your aircraft in the page below – The system will send you an automated e-mail with an attachment that we require you to complete and fax back to us – the mandate will then act as an authority to sell.
